The Italian Riveria Collection - Portofino & Beyond

This set of paintings was created from my trip to the province of Ligure, Italy. The colorful landscape paintings are all from a daytrip to the charming coastal village of Bogliasco, a short train ride from Genoa, the popular cruise port. The portrait of Mary and Jesus is based on a statue in the Fisherman's Church of Santa Margherita, a yaught port just outside of Portofino. The palette in this collection reflects the colors of the landscape - from the warm sunset hues of the building architecture, to the inviting teal blue sea. I highly recommend a trip to this region, and I hope these paintings can help echo the charming Italian coastal lifestyle in your home.
