SNEAK PEAK: The Palm Springs Collection - Up Next!

Palm Springs is absolutely one of my favorite destinations! I was fortunate enough to own a vacation rental for 9 years in this glorious, glam, desert city. The first piece in the series is inspired by this home and shares the same name:

"Palm Springs Vacation Pad"

I am working on this collection now, comprising 18" x 18" x 1.5" paintings on gallery-wrapped canvas, with painted edges. I may also add some 12" x 12" x 1.5" canvasses, as I like the type of smaller compositions I can create with them, as I did for the Square Foot Show with my Italian Riviera Collection, Greek Island painting.

The pool in this Palm Springs painting is reminiscent of many pools, likely built in the early 2000s in the valley with blue-tiled edges. The home itself is representative of the ranch-style 1960s bungalows that populate the city. As locals know, a long-standing ordinance prevents the construction of 2-story homes, adding to the peaceful atmosphere of the desert, with its towering palms.
