My background
I grew up in an artistic home. My father enjoyed painting, and my parents owned a gallery in Vancouver. Although I have an MBA and a business background, I always envisioned becoming an artist.
I started taking Studio Art courses in 2015 in my local community. Then, after retiring from a corporate career in 2021, I returned to college full-time to develop my drawing and painting skills. In 2026, I happily launched this website.
Joyful paintings
My goal is to create art that inspires joy. I believe artists provide a record of the times in which they live. I’m awed by nature’s beauty, and also value how humankind has made its imprint on our world. I try to portray my optimistic observations with each brushstroke.
